Mamma Mia you need a break!

If you have not had a chance yet to go and watch the new film Mamma Mia, I suggest you put your divorce papers down, call up your best friend and head down to the cinema, kick back and relax, for this feel good movie and the gorgeous settings is sure to make you feel better, who needs a husband when you have your best friend a big box of popcorn and stars like Pierce Brosnan adorning the big screen!

If after watching the film you really need to get away why not escape to the tiny Greek island of Skiathos, where a large proportion of the movie was filmed, imagine laying on a sun kissed beach with your toes in the warm Aegean Sea, A freshly-caught Super Grouper for lunch, all washed down with a chilled bottle of Chablis.

Skiathos is one of the Sporades group of islands, lying just off the east coast of mainland Greece, unlike many Greek islands, it’s blessed with large, sandy beaches. You are surrounded by great beaches, pretty scenery and up-all-hours nightclubs, as well as some amazing restaurants, so this holiday can be as lively or laid back as you want. We recommend the ‘Little Outdoor Cafe’ a three minute stroll from the harbour, and prices are very reasonable.
