Just hours after divorce, a woman tries to kill ex husband

It’s been reported that in Wako, Texas, a woman tried shooting her ex husband just hours after being divorced at the courts. The sounds of gunshots were heard by neighbours who alerted the police.
The woman is named as Gayla Valdez-Lind and is behind bars in McLennan County Prison on an attempted murder charge, her bond is said to be $250,000.
Police said that Mike Valdez, Gayla’s ex husband was hiding behind a car which has several bullet holes through it and that a woman was seen holding a pistol at him. This scene was outside the couple’s home on the 1500 block of Bryan, Wako.
It’s said that the argument broke out once they returned from the courts where they had just finalised their divorce. Mike Valdez was not hurt in the incident.
