Well we move over to Australia this morning and have a look at their stories on divorce, reports out show that MOSMAN which is a suburb of Sydney has been branded the divorce capital of Sydney.

The report showed that in 2006 in Mosman that 815 divorced men and women lived alone. Within the figures it also shows that there are double the amounts of divorced women in the situation than men. 815 people if you live from a big town does not seem a lot but putting in proportion to other Sydney suburbs like 684 people living alone in Blacktown and 670 in Dee Why you can see Mosman really is the divorce capital of Sydney.

Mosman is ranking high in the top three infact suburbs where divorced people are living alone or indeed living with someone.

Reports were taken from The Australian Bureau of Statistics which were only recently analysed from the 2006 census.

Overall Mosman had a total of 1830 divorced men and women compared to Blacktown’s 2316, but with blacktowns higher population Mosman is still takes number one slot, in percentage figures, Mosman has 8.4% divorced, Blacktown has 7.5% and 7.7% of Maroubra.

If we go over to Merrylands they have a similar number of residents as Mosman but only 5.4 per cent of its residents are divorced.

So there you have it, if your thinking of starting again in Australia with your new partner maybe steer clear of Mosman, otherwise take it all with a pinch of salt and live wherever the hell you like.
