Ex of Thierry Henry wants £10 million in divorce settlement

Thierry Henry the former Arsenal Striker and ex-wife Claire are set for a long drawn out fight in court, it’s reported that Claire wants £10million.
Claire, 27, found texts from make-up artist Sadie Hewlett, it was also said that Sadie and Thierry had been on various dates, which is the reason Claire decided to spit with the soccer star.
Claire was granted a quick divorce last September on the grounds of Thierry’s “unreasonable behaviour” the couple, who also have a two year old daughter have been married for four years.
Thierry, 30, is rejecting claims Claire is making on his international earnings, saying he was successful before he met Claire and the £16 million move to Barcelona was after the couple split up, he also rejects claims on a settlement to his £130,000 a week wage at the Spanish club. Where it is reported the Star wants to retire.
They both met in 2001 on the Va Va Voom Renault ads.
Theirry is also trying to keep hold of their £5.9million marital home in Hampstead stating he brought it before the couple married in 2003.
It’s said that an offer had been made to Claire but she turned it down. The both have high profile lawyers working for them, Claire has hired Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney in his split with Heather Mills and Thierry has Mishcon de Reya, which acted for Princess Diana in her divorce from Prince Charles.
