Public divorce for “Different World” actress Jasmine Guy

Another nasty public divorce is in the midst for Actress Jasmine Guy who is best known for her role in the 90s his show “A different World” she played the role as Whitley.
Back in April Guy filed for the divorce claiming irreconcilable differences, and it was only last Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court her husband of 10 years Terrence Duckett filed a response according to TMZ.com. We have no idea at present why it has taken him so long to act on the divorce.
The couple have their 9-year old daughter, Omani, and it is said that they are both seeking physical and legal custody of her. Guy has asked the court to deny any spousal support to Duckett, but it was reported in people magazine that she is asking it from him.
There are some things that Jasmine Guy cannot do without which is her Blackberry, DVD player, paintings, sculptures, pots, pans, wedding ring and a toaster! These were all items marked as “separate property” in her original divorce papers.
