Britney Spears custody battle is finally over

Troubled star Britney Spears and ex husband, Kevin Federline finally settled the two year custody battle after their divorce. Spears now will be able to have two overnight visits with her 2 children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, previously she had monitored day visits three times a week and one over night stay.
Spears has agreed to increase child support to Federline by $5,000 a month according to the documents that lawyers presented to the Los Angeles Superior Court late on Friday, she will now be paying $20,000 a month for child support to Federline back dated to July 15. Federline’s attorney also received a single payment of $250,000 from spears as part of the agreement.
Spears met Federline when he was a back up dancer for her. She lost custody of her two children last year when her behaviour became increasingly erratic. Police were also called to her home in Los Angeles when she locked herself in and refused to hand over the children on an overnight visit.
Spears was placed under the care of her father by the court and sent to hospital for psychiatric treatment. Lawyers for Spears and her father will be back in court again on 31st July to discuss her estate and his conservatorship.
Lawyers of the Pop Star said she was “at peace” with the settlement, and that she was very happy she could see the kids more.
