Bynum could end up in jail for not meeting divorce terms

Juanita Bynum the National evangelist has failed to pay her ex husband Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III $40,000 for his attorney fees, a fine or prison could be on the cards as in a court document its alleged that she failed to live up to the terms of her divorce settlement.

It’s also been alleged that Bynum was suppose to pick up furniture and as of yet has not made arrangements to pick up personal belongings which includes a sculpture of women, a harp and more sentimental antiques she collected seven years ago. She was also supposed to transfer the title of the couples 2004 Land Rover to Weeks.

Randy Kessler, Divorce lawyer for Weeks said they have given Bynum a month from the 8th of July to pay $10,000 which was the first of four installments, Bynum has not done so.

The contempt was filed on Monday by Weeks Lawyers and they are adamant that they will ask the court even if it puts Bynun in jail.

The couple was married for nearly 6 years and they divorced on 20th June this year, Bynum could not be reached on Monday, and she didn’t have an attorney representing her in the court, her publicist, Amy Malone was unaware of the filing and had made no further comment.

Weeks was sent to anger management counseling, community service and probation last year, after Weeks who is the Global Destiny Ministries, he was charged for aggravated assault as a first offender in the attack against his wife where he pushed, kicked and beat Bynum in the car park of the Renaissance Concourse Hotel last August 21st.
