Divorce lawyers head towards South Manchester

Nexus the Manchester based law firm has decided to open a new office in Knutsford, South Manchester, to hunt for new divorce cases. Graham Walker has been hired, who was a former partner at Horwich Farrelly.
Walker, responsible for the 2001 ground breaking change to divorce law, where the principle of the new law was that in long-standing marriages, the partner’s business interests as well as their personal finances, should be taken into account in determining settlements, according to Nexus.
Beginning of this year, Crains reported that there were a lot of divorce and family specialist law firms opening up in South Manchester, getting ready for the potential divorce cases. Law firms such as Pannone opened an office at Alderley Edge and Marilyn Stowe opened the second office of her Stowe Family Law practice in Altrincham in April.
