Move over A-Rod: it’s now time for Red Sox’s Jason Varitek to divorce

It all seems to be happening in Major League Baseball, we are not talking about whats going on the pitch, we are talking aboutthe American baseball players rushing to the divorce courts.

The media have just cooled down over the Alex Rodriguez and wife Cynthia divorce with a bit of Madonna thrown in for good measure. We now have the Red Sox captain Jason Varitek divorcing his wife Karen, well according to reports in several Boston newspapers.

It’s rumoured that the divorce was filed in Georgia by Jason and his wife Karen, these guys have given marriage a good go, they got married in 1997 and have lasted a good eleven years, and have produced three wonderful kids.

As we are talking baseball, A-Rod vs. Cynthia has gone extremely quiet whets happened to them? the last I heard was the rumour that A-Rod had donated $500,000 to Madonna’s charity, Raising Malawi. What a nice man. (ahem) we will keep you posted.
