Divorce no longer required for Phoenix Suns Shaquille O.Neal

8:14 am Celebrity Divorces, World Divorce Stories

Back in September last year Shaquille O’Neal (known also as Shaq) the Phoenix Suns center filed for divorce, almost a year on it looks like the couple are making another go of it, Shaunie O.Neal, Shaq’s wife said in a interview with The Associated Press that her marriage to the NBA star is on the mend and that the pair will stop divorce proceedings soon.

Shaunie said that things have been going so well between them they actually forgot they filed the divorce until a friend reminded them. They had been married for 5 years when Shaq filed for the divorce in Miami in September 2007, so it is looking likely the couple will stay together as they seem very happy and have obviously sorted out their problems, good really as they have six children, one each from previous relationships and four together.

The worse thing about the divorce was having to go through it with the children, and to see how hurt they were, Shaunie said this was the hardest thing of all.
No wonder the pair forgot about the divorce with Shaq being a major basketball star and Shaunie setting up another business, a website to showcase children and their talents, through video-sharing. Basically a site where families can safely upload their videos to share.

The idea came from Shaunie wanting to share her children’s activities with other members of the family, and wanted to make sure it was a safe area on the net the children could play be.

Shaunie O’Neal said she developed the idea because she wanted to be able to share her own children’s activities with her family members.

“I get the complaint of ‘Oh, I wish I could see that,’” she said. “There was nowhere I could find that was just safe, where maybe a slip of the finger would take us somewhere where I don’t want the kids to see or hear.”
