New TV reality show: Divorce Party

We just read news on a new TV reality divorce show called “Divorce Party” it’s created by Bobby Goldstein who is responsible for the Dallas-based TV show Cheaters. It’s been reported that Goldstein, has been in and out of court more times than I have hot dinners, with people suing him, but this guy never gives up.

In his series called Cheater, his film crew follows adulterous spouses and then confronts them on camera; the show now runs in 100 countries and in 198 markets.

But now Goldstein has got together with his pal, restaurateur Gene Street, and expanding to incorporate another show called “Divorce Party” the Hyatt Regency downtown has just been the location for the third pilot film.

Basically, after a couple get divorced they film the man and women for weeks collecting material as they go, then they throw a lavish party for both of them, reporters are present at both parties, then we get the ex husband and wife together and boom wait for the fireworks.

It is then down to the viewing public who they vote to be the cause of the divorce. The one who did not cause the divorce will get a nice pay out. Family lawyers have been asked by the Gene to suggest recent divorced couples, so they can put their side forward on the TV and make some money in the process, plus of course 15 minutes of fame for them. It seems that Bobby and Gene were made for this show; between them they have had seven divorces.
