Meg Ryan talks about her divorce as a liberating experience from her ex husband actor Dennis Quaid. The divorce was prompted when actress Meg Ryan’s was caught having an affair with actor Russell Crowe whilst she was still married to Dennis, although Meg has constantly repeated that she wasn’t the only cheat in their marriage, Dennis was no stranger to cheating according to Meg Ryan star of the new film “The Women” she said he had a string of flings that she just put up with until her own loyalties gave way.

Meg is quoted in saying “Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful,” she says, adding, and “I am not a victim. I was there. I was in that marriage for a really long time.”

Meg also added that Russell Crowe was not responsible for her divorce; she also ended up getting out of the relationship with Russell as she was not ready to start another long term relationship with anyone.

Meg Ryan has been enjoying her new found freedom as well as being out of the spotlight which has given her an opportunity to spend time with her two kids, although her new film “The Women” the all female, all star cast that’s about a cheating husband, does it lead to divorce?
