Divorcing couple fight over $3.5 million lottery win

An Ontario pensioner is suing his wife accusing her of stealing his $3.5 million lottery ticket before she filed for divorce in Ontario, Canada. Gerald Moore, 81, filed documents in the court alleging his 59 year old estranged wife Patricia Moore has worked with another family member to deceive him and claim his lottery winnings. Patricia filed for the divorce in August and the winning ticket was in April.
The lawsuit also says accuses Patricia of manipulating her husband “medication for the purpose of rendering him physically emotionally and psychologically incapable” of understanding the situation. There has been no proof of the allegations as of yet in court.
It’s also alleged that Patricia Moore received $1.5 million of the lottery winnings from her daughter who was from a previous marriage, the daughter claimed the winnings with the lottery ticket, kept $1 million for herself and gave the remaining $1 million to her sister.
