Mark Sanford Divorce: TV networks interested

Reports say that the final divorce proceedings between first lady Jenny Sanford and Gov. Mark Sanford will be televised live on Friday from the Charleston County Judicial Center.

First lady Jenny Sanford is due to take the witness stand and under regular court procedures for divorce explain why her marriage to Gov. Mark Sanford is over.

Apparently Mark disappeared last summer for 5 days and said that he was walking along the Appalachian Trail but when he returned he admitted that he was in fact having an affair in Argentina.

Judge Jocelyn Cate of Charleston has been assigned to preside over the hearing. It’s said that 90-minutes has been set-aside on the hearing but could be over in just 15 minutes.

Gov. Mark Sanford is believed to be the first South Carolina governor who has divorced while still in office. What do you make of all this? Let us know in the comments box below.
