Barrister’s Ex-wife demands £560,000 30 years after divorce

According to reports a leading barrister’s ex-wife is to take him to court 30-years after their divorce to demand £560,000 in maintenance. Philippa Vaughan said that her former husband, David who is now 71 is enjoying a millionaire lifestyle, while she has been left with an inadequate income.

David and Philippa who married in 1967 and divorced in 1985 are due to settle this dispute in court next week. Reports say that after the couple split David was ordered to pay Philippa £27,000 a year in maintenance and periodical payments, despite this Philippa is calming that the maintenance awards were not adequate.
