Allen Iverson Divorce: Personal and professional life in turmoil

According to reports it seems that nothing is going quite right for basketball star Allen Iverson. With his basketball career potentially over, his wife Tawanna leaving him and his 4-year-old daughter who is currently suffering from an undisclosed illness, things cannot get any worse or could they.

Reports say that on Tuesday Allen’s wife Tawanna filed for divorce to end their 8 1/2-year marriage in Fulton County (Ga.) Superior Court, which was also the same day that Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski announced that Allen was done for the season.

The divorce petition apparently said the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that Tawanna wants to have custody of their five children. Their youngest child is 17 months; the oldest is 15.
