Sorrell Trope who is Shaunie’s lawyer, said “the estranged couple have reached an agreement on all of the terms of the divorce, including child custody, property division, and spousal support”.

According to reports the Florida courts will have jurisdiction to officially grant the divorce while the California courts will have jurisdiction over any issues in relation to the custody of the children.

Reports say that on Tuesday Allen’s wife Tawanna filed for divorce to end their 8 1/2-year marriage in Fulton County (Ga.) Superior Court, which was also the same day that Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski announced that Allen was done for the season.

The divorce petition apparently said the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that Tawanna wants to have custody of their five children. Their youngest child is 17 months; the oldest is 15.
